I would really like to see it succeed <Œ> I've been a Discworld fan since someone gave me TCOM aged 15 (13 years ago) and have faithfully got all the paperbacks since. I was Treasurer of the Film Society at University (Soton), writing a lot of the material in the society's publications. This mostly consisted of reviews, but I think that I've seen enough to have a fair idea of what looks and feels right on the screen. Had I the funds, I would do a Masters in Film Studies, if I could Where, if anywhere, I can be useful is with the story/script. I am currently fortunate enough to be a local Borough Councillor (LibDem, if it matters?), which means I am often writing material for public consumption. Admittedly this is usually speeches for myself, not conversation for actors, but I know well enough that what gets originally written on the page is not always what ultimately gets said. So, I can offer my services as a script editor and possible storyboarder, and failing that, general dogsbody!. I live close enough to London, in Tunbridge Wells, that I can get to the suggested Theatre in the Strand and many other possible S East locations to help out on the set, and would genuinely like to see this project succeed. If you want to get in touch with me, my phone is [censored], or e-mail as above. Otherwise, best of luck! |
