I have absolutely no qualifications for my roles as webperson, information-gatherer and people-poker except that I started doing the former when they were needed and was the only person willing to volunteer for the latter... although the fact that I'm available online for about fourteen hours a day almost every day is, I feel, a point in my favour, at least in this particular situation.
