| Index | Meetings | Locations | People | Images | The Movie CV: Matthew Pettitt (MP) Job wanted:What is Packaging designer? Can you do it from here (i.e. in front of computer, unable to travel)? Else would there be a space for a role like Head of Publicity (or even publicity dogsbody)? Oh, and can do things like the programmes for the cellars/opera goers (design, but not printing in quantity) as have access to professional design/layout tools, and enough experience with them to produce "Victorian" feel (or any other that is wanted, for that matter). So part of prop makers...?
Pretty Relevant Qualifications:A-Level Media, working towards Maths/Computing Degree (A-level at both), do various bits for student newspaper (officially as Deputy Webmaster)
Less Relevant Qualifications:Qualified First-Aider (First Aid at Work from St. John - 4 day course + experience, prerequisite courses etc.), Hush Puppy trained shoe fitter, web development experience, full clean driving licence
Availability:York, England, until June, then Warwickshire area until October (back to York). Am available most weekends + bits of holidays. Cannot travel though, as have no transport, and no funds to get trains etc. around the country/world.
Other information:Am a student (born 17/11/1981, so 19 ATM), can drive, but have no car. Have access to my computer (nothing particularly useful for films - is geared up to programming, although can do image conversion and touchup, but not creation (no art skills at drawing)) and currently unlimited (well, if I can get a computer on campus) internet access via university.Have edited school magazine before, so can do print based stuff very well, but not so good with editing films (read rubbish at films, great at paper). Can write presentation material to high standard (wrote presentation that won Central region award at Royal Show). Am very camera-shy, so cannot act at all, and don't want to. |
